On 16 March 2023, in the CJEU case C-634/21 SCHUFA Holding, AG Prit Pikamäe established a right for the person concerned NOT to be subject to a decision based solely on AI processing.


Across the pond, on 4 April 2023, Philippe Dufresne, Privacy Commissioner of Canada, launched an investigation into OpenAI, the operator of ChatGPT.
